The children really enjoyed this year's Bible School Theme, Saddle Ridge Ranch. And they really enjoyed the music -- you should have seen how much fun and how involved they got in the motions during practice. Thanks to Mrs. Tammy for all her hard work in making sure they were ready to perform Sunday night. Thanks to all the teachers who dedicated their time to VBS.
With the theme being Saddle Ridge Ranch, one of the favorite games of the kickoff was "milking the cow." Another favorite was the barrel racing, where the children rode a "stick" horse around the barrels.
And then, there was rope jumping, where Mrs. Tammy ruled! She showed the children the art of running into a rope already turning.
One person cannot make VBS run so smoothly; thanks to all the people who taught, helped with refreshments, and helped with crafts. And a special thank you to everyone who came and to those who sent their children. We could not have a Bible School without you!
